Speedtest.net is a web service that provides free analysis of Internet access parameters, such as connection data rate. It was founded by Ookla in 2006, and is based in Kalispell, Montana. Speedtest.net measures your connection speed in Mbps, meaning Megabits Per Second. Mbps is the ISP industry-standard, and we use it on Speedtest.net so you can easily compare your result to your broadband plan’s speed. However, we offer four different options on your settings page. This site can help Online English teachers and applicant to test their internet speed against hundreds of geographically dispersed servers around the world. At the end of each test, users are presented with their download and upload result bandwidth speeds.
